UC Foundation Board of Trustees elects six new members
All incoming trustees are UC alumni
The University of Cincinnati Foundation Board of Trustees has elected six new trustees to its 52-member board: Paul D. Green, BBA ’90; Lourdes J. Harshe, BBA ’92; Anndréa M. Moore, BBA’10; Arun C. Murthy, BBA ’95; Kirk L. Perry, BBA ’90, HON ‘15; and Christopher J. Van Pelt, BA ’91, MA ’93.
“I am excited to begin partnering with this incoming cohort of trustees. They bring diverse viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences that will expand what we can achieve together,” said UC Foundation President Peter E. Landgren. “They are committed to the impact philanthropy makes on education and health care.”
“This group of impressive Bearcats bring a valuable perspective to our work; many are first- generation graduates and scholarship recipients,” said Rae Mang, Pharm ’89, UC Foundation board chair. “Their personal and professional insights will help us elevate both UC and UC Health through the limitless potential of philanthropy.”
The six new trustees will begin their service in October 2021.
Green has been with Ernst & Young (EY) for 23 years and is currently the Americas Tax Sector Leader and Americas Tax Consumer and Retail Sector Leader. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Carl H. Lindner College of Business Advisory Council and is involved with the UC Alumni Chicago Network.
Harshe is a Tax Managing Director with Deloitte Tax’s Global Employer Services (GES). Within Deloitte’s GES practice, she is helping lead workforce transformation efforts, as well as championing their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion culture. While at UC she was an active member of the fraternal women’s organization, Chi Omega, Student Activities Council, Students Organized Against Rape and was on the UC Varsity Women’s Tennis Team. Harshe is involved in the UC Alumni Los Angeles and Orange County Networks.
Moore is on the leadership team of Facebook’s Small Business Products organization, building and launching products for small-to-medium-sized businesses who use the Facebook family of apps. She is the 2020-2021 recipient of the UC Alumni Association’s Jeffrey Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award and was a 2010 recipient of UC’s Presidential Leadership Medal of Excellence. With fellow Lindner alumni, Moore created the Lindner Black Alumni & Friends scholarship to support future business leaders.
Murthy is Vice Present for Institutional Sales at TD Ameritrade Institutional; he has three decades of experience in the financial services industry. While at UC, he was involved with the honorary fraternity Sigma Sigma, Student Alumni Council and Student Government.
Perry is President and CEO of IRI, a data analysis firm that works in the consumer, retail and media sectors. He has more than 30 years of CPG and technology experience at two of the world’s largest and most respected companies, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Google. Perry was a member of the Foundation board from 2006 to 2013.
Van Pelt is Partner at PwC, where he leads efforts in health care information systems. As a student, Van Pelt was on the UC Men’s Swim Team. He and his wife, Cari, recently established a scholarship to support a student-athlete on the swimming or diving teams.
